While my stay had some positive points, there were significant issues that made it less than ideal. The surrounding area was picturesque and offered lovely views, and I appreciated the effort of the staff members I encountered. However, the lack of maintenance in the facilities and the disappointing dining options left much to be desired.

Overall, there were some highs, but several lows that made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Nantahala Village offers a tranquil and picturesque mountain retreat with a focus on hospitality. While some guests rave about the stunning surroundings and the wonderful chef, others have faced issues with the upkeep and availability of amenities. The accommodations can be a mixed bag in terms of comfort and cleanliness, and while the service received high marks from many, it fell short for others. Overall, it's a place that shines in its scenic beauty but struggles with consistency in maintenance.

The surroundings were undeniably beautiful, adding to the overall experience. However, the dining options were quite limited due to current restrictions, and we found the breakfast to be a bit underwhelming.
